I booked a flight on 2/15/14 for Tuesday March 25th. throughout the entire process it stated Tuesday March 25th, when I completed the purchase it changed the date to Wednesday March 26th. I have screen shots during the process that show it was Tuesday the 25th, as I thought possibly I changed something. There is no way you can change the date along the way without going entirely though the process again. So i did not "accidentally' change the date. I immediately called customer service. I was on hold for over an hour and half. My phone started dying so i had to terminate the call while at a family birthday party. i called back 2 more times during the evening and was on hold for over an hour each time. i sent an email immediately after the first terminated call a few hours after booking the flight. The email was responded to today with "please try to contact again today, as we had high call volume yesterday due to many issues". Ok, so i called again today, wait time 57 minutes and they finally answered. "james" agent 3895 opened my itinerary and said..oh i see you forgot to purchase the "trip flex" so there is nothing i can do, other than charge you $75 per person and $51.00 fee to change it. Now, I'm not paying for their error in the computer system...which I'm guessing I'm not the only one as the email response said "long wait time for multiple problems yesterday".Since I spent a lot of time on the phone one hold over the past 24 hours, they should have just changed it for me as i documented immediately via email my issue. While I understand there can be computer issues, i do not understand rude agents.. He said oh...so you are refusing to compromise by paying for the error. Then I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said there was none and that he was the highest ranking person there. I asked him what his title was. he said "what do you mean by that?" I asked it again, and he was unable to answer my question. So I asked who his supervisor was and he said " i don't give that information out". I'm not asking where your supervisor lives and what their SS# is..I'm asking for a name. I will never ever fly allegiant again...and even though it is convenient with a small town airport...i will go through the hassle in the larger airport.
